I saved the RSS feed in an XML file and tried to import the feed but it says:

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Anyone know what I can do?

    Anyone? Please?

Generally, it’s preferred that you not bump before a day has passed. Those who know something to help you may be in wildly differing time zones.

Patience, please. It’s not a matter of life and death.

    Sorry, I didn’t know. 🙁

Well, while you’re waiting patiently for help…. you could simply use the search form at the top of the page to search – maybe someone else has had this problem, and will have posted the solution.

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Contact your host to have upload_max_filesize increased.

Or, slice your RSS export into smaller chunks.

Okay, my host told me to what to change in my .htaccess file..but does anyone know where that typically is? I’m looking through the folders and can’t seem to find it

It’s normally in the root of your /public_html/ or www or htdocs folder (depending on your host setup). If you’re looking for it using an ftp client, you may have to tell the client to display all files – so you might have to dig into the help files for your client to figure out how to do that.

Oh, okay thanks. I just needed to change the view settings so the file was unhidden. 🙂
