[Plugin: Role Scoper] Fatal error on line 476

    Brand new site. Only plugin activated is WP importer.
    I activated this right after download and bam.
    I have to manually FTP to my site to delete this before I can access the admin area again.
    Thoughts?
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function cr_role_caps() in /html/wp-content/plugins/role-scoper/admin/update_rs.php on line 476

    FWIW, I have the same problem. A newbee site test driving 3.4.2 WP MU and practically no other plugins yet.

    OK, found the solution (or at least “a solution”)

    Go to Dashboard > Sites > Role Options >Realm Tab
    then downto the bottom for Access Types and uncheck ‘Viewing Content’

    I assume this merely means that default RS restricts front-end pages for at least multi-user site pages (maybe others?) and that after understanding RS better that preferred Viewing granularity could be added. Its a little surprising that front-end pages are restricted with RS defaults.

    The current development version 1.3.57-dev and upcoming 1.3.57 contain a fix for this.
