I have just installed Wordpress and i get this error when i try to login:

    Found
    The document has moved here.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Can anyone help?

Me too - got this exact error installing WP today. On two different accounts. Since I'm not the only one, I suspect something on the WP end and not our individual ends...

Can anyone have a look for us and attempt to sort it out? WP is the best Blog util I've ever used, and while Fantastico offers 2 others, I'd much rather use WP. But I need SOMETHING up ASAP, so... help!

    Thanks much!

Please do a search using the big box top of forum. There are a number of topics, some with solutions, in the last several weeks.

Addendum - it appears to be a run error. Even the installed WP main page doesn't come up. My Sysadmin muttered something about "suexec"...

    Help! Help!

vkaryl, if you can find something that covers this exact problem, I'd appreciate it if you would give the link to it rather than a general "search for it".

This appears to be a new problem, as I installed WP in another account only 2 days ago with no problems. Same servers, same version, same conditions.

I don't have a link, since I'm not having the problem so I didn't save a link to it. Sorry.

Okay, so here's your info: a search turned up a link to this page on the 3rd post listed....

    Thanks vkaryl!

That works. Hope they come up with a new version soon - all of my members will be affected by this.

Appreciate the time you took to look it up for me.

Just wanted to add my two cents... Same problem with ver 2.0.5 INSTALL. LOG-IN doesn't work. Suggest staying with whatever you have until problem is resolved.

Vkaryl - Thank you for posting that link here. It fixed a problem that was literally driving me insane and I'm brand new with this stuff. Thanks again!

You're all welcome, though for anyone thinking about upgrading right now, I'd read franklaughter's advice a couple posts above TWICE.... and follow it.

There hasn't been a word from the devs about this AFAIK. No telling if they're looking into it....

It's REALLY tacky when a program release requires a PLUGIN to work properly. Though it's certainly nice of Mark to produce/provide it....
