  • When I view my site in IE10 (not logged in), I’m notified that a popup window to jetpack.wordpress.com was blocked. Is a popup window necessary? I’d rather not disable jetpack features but also don’t want my visitors annoyed by an unnecessary popup window.

I don’t get the notification in Firefox, but use FF for admin duties and am always logged in.

I absolutely hate that jetpack wants a popup window when the comment feature is enabled but I’m apparently stuck with it because it’s the best antispam addin there is. i have no idea if it turns off visitors and possible commenters, but spam is all but eliminated and false positives (compared to askimet) are 0.

You should only be getting a popup from the comment form if you are trying to log in. Then a pop up, initiated by you, will come up to process the login (to WordPress.com, Facebook, or Twitter).
