[Plugin: UpdraftPlus] 400 Bad Request from Google Drive

I get an error code 400 Bad Request when I try to link to Google Drive. The request details are:

response_type=code
scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file https://docs.google.com/feeds/ https://docs.googleusercontent.com/ https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/
redirect_uri=http://www.[MY_WORK_DOMAIN]/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus&action=auth

approval_prompt=auto
state=token
client_id=central@[MY_WORK_DOMAIN]

Any thoughts on why it fails? Thank for creating this plugin! The local backups worked great!

I am very interested in getting google drive to work with updraftplus and having the same problem.

I’m afraid that the (experimental) Google Drive support needs an overhaul, so don’t hold your breath – I may have time in a few weeks to do that overhaul…

Not sure this will help you, but I’ve re-written the Google Drive support, and it’s available here for testing (now supports uploading, restoring, pruning old backups – i.e. everything).

I’m not sure it’ll help because I didn’t touch the authentication code…

P.S. If it doesn’t work, then please can you try out the “backup” plugin and let me know if that works? http://wordpress.org/plugin/backup. My present authentication code is an old version of what’s in there. If the new “backup” one works for you, then I’ll update my code again!

No reply after 4 weeks, and works for me – marking as ‘resolved’. Please re-open if you can still reproduce the problem in the latest release.
