• Hi people,

Our website has been live for almost half a year now and just wanted to get some opinions on whether there were any obvious issues with out set up that I should fix..

    Thanks,

    • Your slider buttons don’t have the pointer cursor, so you’re not letting the user know it’s interactive/ press-able.
    • The navigation’s drop-down menus take longer, in my preference, to disappear than necessary.
    • You could add a site description near the top somewhere, as I know it’s a gaming website but what type; e-commerce, review, etc. ?
    • Your slider images don’t have alt values, nor do the slider-navigating thumbnails.
    • With long pages like this guide you could add a back to top feature, where on-click the user is sent back to the top of the page.
    • Your comment form goes to another page for validation errors, this makes it a lengthy process to post a comment and can be frustrating going back and forth. You could instead use a form that has validation errors on the same page of the form.
    • Your Home page is not W3C valid http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.casually-addicted.net%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 .
    • Also check other pages for validity.
