Facebook Plugin Slows My Site

    This is a great plugin, I love it’s functionality and ease-of-use. However, before installing, my pages were loading between 500ms and 1s. After installing they are closer to 2s, which I’m not happy about.

    I’ve made no other changes to the site and using Pingdom Tools, I can see that it’s the calls that this plugin is making that is causing the issue.

    Could it be something in the setup?
