Can't Install Facebook for WordPress plugin

    I uploaded the Facebook for WordPress plugin to my WordPress blog, but when I attempt to activate it, I get the following error meessage and my Dashboard is crippled.

    “You must configure the plugin to enable Facebook for WordPress.”

    Since my Dashboard is cripplied, I can’t configure the plugin, although I did create a Facebook App as per the instructions.
