  • Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

I just started having this problem today, and I haven’t installed any new plugins recently.I’ve had this theme for quite some time and haven’t had any issues before.I would be a little scared to reset the plugins folder myself.

Just follow the instructions carefully and you should be OK.

I still don’t quite understand how to do it even though I read it??

I’m sorry but when you are hosting your own site, there does come a time when you have to roll up your sleeves and sort things out yourself. Using FTP is one of the skills you really need to learn. Your only other real option is hiring someone to carry out the work for you.

Don’t worry, this is the fun part with WordPress. There is no customer support so you’re on your own to figure things out. That’s the price you pay for free software. I’m having the same issue for a customers site and was instructed to do the same steps which is ridiculous when it’s clearly an issue with WordPress and NOT the plugins, theme or hosting.

@dmd54: It is extremely impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a minor rant of your own. Please stick to your own topic.

Its odd because it works on internet explorer browser, but not on mozilla/firefox so Idk?

I’m seeing an apparently well-formed RSS feed now in Firefox – which is a lot more than I was seeing before. So I suspect that there was a server issue which has now been sorted. But you have a secondary issue – which is that your RSS feed icon/link isn’t accessible in Firefox. I think that’s a CSS issue.

How would I fix that problem?Or do you know of any other rss services that I could try? thanks
