   Hi al!!
   I'm brazilian and have a blog about movies that have one problem in permalinks.
   My permalinks has post name in it with dashes like cinefilos.interativo.org/2004/07/spider-man-movie
   but, in portuguese we use some special not ansi standard caracter, like á, ç and õ. WP are removing this
   special caracters from my permalink and, to put it there again, i need to edit the published post.
   My localhost Windows XP version don't have this problem but my Linux host has. In XP instalation,
   WP changing special caracters with standard like one.
   Example
   Post title: Próxima coleção
   WP permalink: cinefilos.interativo.org/prxima-coleo
   Desired permalink: cinefilos.interativo.org/proxima-colecao
   Anyone can help me?

   Ok guys! I get it!
   My local windows XP version is wp-1.02-blakey and my Linux host version is the lastest nightly build version.
   The problem is in /wp-includes/functions-formatting.php that doesn't have a remove_accents function. In
   my old version the sanitize_title_with_dashes function had a call to remove_accents and that's all i need.
   Why this function are deleted from newer version?
