Display child category posts within parent category posts

Hey,

I recently opened this topic, but I’ve since had a different idea on how to do this – but again I need some PHP tips.

Basically, I want a post with to appear within a post.

The main post has a parent category of, lets say, ‘Everton’ [team name]. I will then assign a child category to this called, ‘Goodison Park’ [stadium].

I want to populate the post that has the child category with info that I wish to appear on all posts that have the parent category of ‘Everton’. [this pattern will occur with many team/stadium variations. Not just one].

The thing is, each time I write a post that has a child category, I dont want this to be display as a post within my main page of latest posts.

Does anyone of you wonderful people know where to look on how to achieve something like this, or, if you could be so kind to whip up a quick example php code that I could work into my template.
