    Hi Caroline,

    Thanks for this wonderful theme :). Please is there a way I can include the post images in the excerpts on the front page?

    I like the excerpt idea on the front page, but I would also like it to include the image inserted into the post.

    Hi there,

    the_excerpt() does not show images or other embedded content by design. You may be able to do some fancy filtering in functions.php to get it to do so, but I’m not sure how.

    However, if you set a Featured Image for each of your posts, an image will appear on the home page next to the excerpt.

    Yes Caroline,

    This helps a lot! It puts a small thumb nail beside the post. So it adds a bit of colour. Thanks for your prompt and kind assistance. It is highly appreciated 🙂
