small adhesive problem

    Dear Sirs:

    I am using the plain default theme and want to post a sticky post. Uploading, activating, and configuring the adhesive plug-in seemed to go smoothly, and I believe I even altered the code correctly to read something other than the “Important Message!” it comes standard with. But all I get is the post date displayed when I have the banner setting chosen and sticky post box checked. With the plug-in download site down and no additional instructions that I can find, can anyone offer any clues? Thanks.
