[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] How to Optimize Comments and Benefit From New Content

    SEO by Yoast Article discusses how important COMMENTS are. I have people starting to interact more often with my site and I would like to manage and make sure I am taking full benefit of the new content.
    1) Other than the quality of the content, how do I know COMMENTS are optimized for search engines?
    2)What settings in SEO by Yoast lead to better optimization and management of COMMENTS?
    3) Are COMMENTS automatically searched by search engines?
    4) Other than cutting and pasting, is there a way to convert a series of COMMENTS into a new page, assuming pages are better then posts? When is it a good idea to do this?
