Remove subscribers from the author filter in the "All Posts" admin section

We just went live with our news sites and have a few hundred subscribers already with 20 editors & contributors. We a staff member wants to filter by author or quick edit to change the author, all the subscribers show in the list.

Is there a way to remove them from it? Its just those users I want hidden from the drop down.
