    When I publish a new message a “read more” is automatically generated but this link is empty, it doesn’t link to the original message.

    What’s wrong?

    Which theme are you using on your site? Can you provide a link?

    The site is in Dutch:

    The read more tag is in Dutch “lees meer…” as you can see under each post. It’s generated automatically, but it doesn’t work. The theme is Atahualpa, wordpress version is 3.4.1.

    Somebody suggested to deactivate the plugins but that didn’t help. He also suggested to use the more tag but that only generates the html remark <!–more–> in the text, not visible in the text in the site of course because, obviously, it’s a remark.

    Resolved. Theme settings and functions.php file changed.
