What, specifically, is the issue you are seeing? What are the steps to reproduce it?

i installed the plugin, put the time im counting down to (30 Mar 2012 2pm), but it appears to be counting to the time UTC not my time zone +10

    currently showing
    6 months, 1 week, 6 days, 11 hours, 40 minutes
    should be
    6 months, 1 week, 6 days, 1 hours, 40 minutes

current local time is 17 Sept 2012 12:20pm

I’m seeing this as well, looks like the plugin does not accoutn for time zones

There may be a bug in the handeling of timezones. What are your timezones set to in WordPress?

my timezone is set correctly in WordPress UTC+10

mine is set to new york.

the difference in time is consistent with the plugin using gmt time and not my wordpress set time

Timezone handling within WordPress is still more of an art, rather than a science. I’ve spent several tens of hours implementing a test suite (built on PHPUnit, for those interested) that I’m hoping will help resolve this issue.
