• Like the poster 3 months back, I too am receiving the “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.” when I try to activate your plugin. My site is hosted on a Godaddy Linux server that supports mod_rewrite.

Mod_rewrite is an Apache Web server module installed on all of our Linux servers by default; it does not have to be installed or enabled. Our Linux hosting accounts support most mod_rewrite functions.

I need the ability to secure direct access to member only files. Protecting the directory only (Path Access plugin) does nothing to prevent direct access to the files contained in the protected directory. When I saw your plugin I was very hopeful this was a solution for us.

What do I need to do to get this plugin to work? Do I need to create the .htaccess file myself somewhere or modify it manually to get the plugin to activate?
