    Width of container in CSS = (img width +/- margin +/- padding)/3 – it’s math – do it. It really is the issue.

    But I think its wordpress gallery api default css. I could not change the css for the image.

    I know your pointing in this

    #gallery-1 .gallery-item {
    float: left;
    margin-top: 10px;
    text-align: center;
    width: 20%;
    }

    But this is wordpress css settings.
