[BUG] WordPress forum doesn’t honor “Subscribe to mailing list”

    When I register to WordPress forum, I unchecked “subscribe to mailing list announcement”.

    But when I login and edit my profile (to change my password), it turns out that this checkbox is checked.

    Intentional or…?
