• I’m currently using All in One SEO Pack and XML Sitemaps plugins but would like to switch to Yoast SEO. Because AIO uses custom fields, I was wondering if I was gonna lose all that should I disable the plugin and enable Yoast SEO. I run a very busy blog with 2,000+ posts and would not want to find myself having to manually input all title tags, etc. Any advice on whether it’s possible to switch without complications?

  • Hi Tranny, here’s a guide.
I don’t know if you for “custom field” mean plugin’s field settings, anyway you’ll don’t lose title and description and so on.
The “problem” is that Yoast has more settings and checks for single posts, so almost surely you’ll want to add new settings, and that’s a very heavy manual work on 2.000.
You can try, you can only disable AIO at the moment, not delete it, and take a look by yourself activating Yoast.
