nevermind, it out of the blue just showed up on my widgets list (any idea why this happened?)
No idea, though it does seem as if a “delay” is happening on the odd occasion lately. I’ve had it happen on two out of 20 installs. *shrug* It’s definitely weird. I HATE gremlins….
I downloaded and installed the widget that puts subscribe2 into your sidebar. I uploaded the file to the directory, and went to the plugins section and activated it. I then went to the sidebar widgets section, but there was no “Subscribe2” widget to drag. I’ve tried deleting the file and re-activating it, but for some reason the widget never shows up in the list. I’m using probably 5 other widgets and they’ve all worked flawlessly, but this one it doesn’t work on. Any ideas?
….yes, I’ve cut and pasted the first post in this thread, because I’m having_exactly_the same issue. So far it hasn’t magically fixed itself, though. Anyone have thoughts on what might be happening?

What version of this widget are you using? Where did you get it? Without looking at the source code, it’s difficult to say what the problem could be.
From looking at the latest SVN code for it, it will only activate if both widgets are active and the subscribe2 plugin is active.

how about that….after two days, the widget magically appeared. Same gremlins that affected the previous sufferer, I guess…
