Missing Category Numbers?

For some reason, when I upgraded the theme to my blog, the category numbers dissappeared. If you check out my blog (www.sethigherstandards.com) you will see the full list of categories, but no “(X)” next to the names indicating the number of posts.

any idea how to fix? thanks.
