• Hi there,

For some reason, when doing a routine check of my site’s search feature, the formatting of the results are now unwrapped.

The site is http://www.rapnews.co.uk When I type in a word, the results page shows everything correctly, but the formatting of any search result from the ‘reviews’ section has gone mad.

Rather than the summary of the ‘reviews’ search results being wrapped in the margins like everything else, it scrolls on forever.

I suspect this will require tons of attention and a lot of coding experience. I am not very good at either and would highly appreciate someone suggesting the most painless way of fixing this bug.

Many thanks for your time. Hope to hear from you soon.
    Tony.

  • Not all posts look like that, see:
    http://www.rapnews.co.uk/index.php?s=cargo

Do you have (or had) any text formatting plugin activated? Like textile or something similar?
From the search result I linked above I’d look at the code (source code) of those posts to see what is the difference between those displayed normally and those screwed up…

It seems like all categories aren’t wrapped. The interviews categories are wrapped, and that have optional excerts whilst the others dont. I have text formatting plugin and markdown. I know you’re not meant to have both active, but without textile switched on, the text on my ‘network’ and ‘podcast’ pages lose their paragrah breaks…

ah. solved. ive kept textile on and turned markdown off. 🙂
