Hi,

I just cancelled my account with Hostgator. My first blog for links.com was up for less than a day when I experienced my first 500 Internal Server Error and loss of my database. Technical support was of no help.

I am looking for a resilient webhosting service for links.com which I hope to build into a roboust site with several subdomains. I need 24×7 phone support and reliable backup software. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

I just list MidPhase and went to Spry and a Virtual Private Server. So far so good. I ordered the VPS from midphase the three days later nothing was done. Spry is smaller and so far seem to be more responsive to questions. Antoher plus is the technical help’s first language is English. At Midphase they were often competent but it would take three responses to get what I needed as too much was lost in translation.

Thanks. I was looking at asmallorange. Does anyone know whether they have 24×7 telephone support. I would pay extra, sincel links.com will be a major site as I develop it.

they have EXCELLENT support, as for 24/7 .. I dont know

ASO does not currently offer any phone support.

ASO does not offer phone support but they don’t need to. Send the help desk a question and you get a reply in minutes – all day, all night.

febwa1976, thats been my experience. I should add though that both my questions were NOT support questions, I just wanted features added. None the less, i had heard back and the features were added within 10-15 mins.
