  • Do you want to make it count as a page hit?

yes… cause on my old blog it counts like a page hit

Ok mate, first I strongly suggest you don’t look at page statistics in this way, i’m actually trying to do the opposite right now.

    1. The page hits clutter the actual page statistics. Ect, a person will spend more time on a movie or text, you gain nothing out of the refreshes for the pagehit other than slower performance for your server.

Page hits mean nothing mate, it’s all about your visitors, if your content is good enough they will stay.

To answer your question, not sure if it’s a fix, but I use a plugin called Random Image 1.1 it display random images from the attachment id, it’s good, but like I said, more page hits, more refreshes, you will look down on upon a greater audience.

I can totally double my page hits record if I wanted to, but lets face it, it’s more about your good content, and how much they spend on the page.

tnx mate, i’ll seriously consider your opinion.

If your interested in seeing how long people spend on your page, check out google analytics. To me, it’s more important than page hits.
