• I’m new to this game. I created my wordpress site. I want to put in a survey on a new page. I created the page, with a title. I found a plug in called WP Feedback & Survey Manager. Installed and activated it. Can’t visit the plug in site as it gives me a Malware warning. So don’t know if the plug in is valid or not.

Assuming for a moment it is – I don’t know how to get it to the new page I created. I assume I would use the same procedure on any other survey plug in.

    Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thank you,

    Dennis

  • Hiya,

I installed this plugin, but didn’t see any malware notice. Where did you see this? Is it happening on a public link on your site? If so, I can take a look with you.

Did you follow the instructions as per here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-feedback-survey-manager/installation/

It appears there’s a shortcode that you’d need to add to the content of the page you created for surveys.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need anything further!

    Thanks for the feedback.

When I looked at my installed plugins on the dashboard I saw this next to the name:
Version 1.0.1 | By Swashata | Visit plugin site

When I clicked the “Visit plugin site” I got the warning message.

I’ll try and follow the instructions on the link you sent me. Not yet sure about downloading and uploading it correctly but will figure it out.

    Appreciate your help.

I set up two pages. One a blog page with only the short code [feedback]. The survey shows up fine. I would like to figure out if I can have a place in the survey where they can type in an answer rather than just check a box.

But the critical part is that on another blank page I put in the short code for the results [feedback_trend]. The results after several people finished the survey is moving blocks rather than the correct results. This is the results page: http://www.dennisdater.com/survey-results/

    Does this make any sense?

    Thank you,

    Dennis
