[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Removing 'category' slug removes page
-
I’ve got a category with a certain name, let’s say “my-category”.
Now I’ve created a page with the same name “my-category”. This post has some content and links to three posts within the category as: http://www.mysite.com/my-category/post-#
Someone could go to http://www.mysite.com/my-category read the page and click on the links to go to the respective posts.
Once I check the box “Strip the category base”, the same url “www.mysite.com/my-category/” now directs the user to the archive page for that category.
I need the box checked to display certain other categories and subcategories separately. How do I solve this?
