Everything is totally missing from the dashboard. Where did it all go?

What exactly is missing? Is it a blank page? Can you login?

Do you know how to paste a screen of my dashboard here for you to see?
Can you see the website? I’ve been working on it, so its not perfect. The issue is the dashboard itself.

    1. I can login
    2. only 2 buttons visible on the left of dashboard
    1. Dashboard
    2. Profile
    3. when i click on dashboard, i see 3 screen options (wpblog, other wp news, and superwp theme
    4. everything else, all the other buttons normally under the dashboard button are gone: Jetpack, posts, media, links, pages, comments, appearance, plugins, users, tools, settings….no where.

I’m thinking they are hidden somewhere, but where?

    ******STYLE SHEET EDIT*************
I edited the style sheet and deleted some code, perhaps that did it. But it worked fine way after I made those changes until I logged out and logged back in last night.

I wanted to get rid of the social profiles to the right of the logo and replace it with the custom header you see here. I copied and saved it to word in case it didnt work.

In order to put that code back, I need to get into Appearance and Editor, which I can’t.

Who do you think i can call for help? My host, bluehost?

I have backups in dropbox.com and on Bluehost.
How do I activate the backup? I don’t want to loose the changes I’ve made. If i have to, i will.

The website is clearly there with everything I’ve done so far. All the pages load. So what happened to the dashboard? http://www.qualitytimeerrands.com/roadsidewaiters/

Desperately want to get this site done.

If someone can get in and help me figure it out, please, what do you suggest?

    Thanks.

    Yes I can.

Keep those backups safe while we troubleshoot this. It seems to me you have some sort of capability issue.

    Try:
resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    1. I can login
    2. only 2 buttons visible on the left of dashboard
    1. Dashboard
    2. Profile

Sounds like you’ve logged in as a subscriber (or accidentally changed your account to a subscriber’s account). Only Dashboard and Profile are what you see when you’re a subscriber an logged in. All the other buttons show based on your login level – Administrator sees everything.

Another suggestion (other than what Keesie says) would be to log into your hosting control panel, and access phpMyAdmin. Go to the wp_users table and see what your user level is set at.

I’ve got it. Someone added a new user and changed the password.
    Everything is good now.
    Thanks for your help

i have almost the same problem with this, my office site has only a few menu such as : posts, media, links, pages, commnet, contact, profile, and tools. But even the tools is empty.
is there any possibility that it has been hidden? and how can i restore all the missing menu?
please , i really need a help, thanks a lot.
