   I woke up this morning to find the WP part of my website hacked by a Trojan Turk?? I contacted my server and I am not getting very clear information on what I should do. The hack is apparently only on the WP pages. I downloaded my files and they seem unchanged. I tried to overwrite what is up but it didn't work. What do I do???? I seriously am clueless.
   FYI...I am self-taught at computers, blogs, WP and websites through trial and error and not through any formal training so please advise me in the simplest terms possible.

   My website is www.americanbrandy.net and the hijacked page is www.americanbrandy.net/journal
   I am using WP 2.0.3.

   1. You should upgrade to 2.0.4. It's more secure.
   2. Look for an index.html file in your blog's root directory and delete it!

   I thought I had checked all the files but apparently not good enough. I am going to upgrade immediately. Thanks!
   Any advice on stopping this from occurring again???

   What you can do: don't leave files or directories writable (666 or 777, respectively)!
   What your host should do: investigate where the intrusion happened and how.
