New blog posts not appearing

Last week I volunteered to set up a blog for a non-profit’s website. I had it automatically set to put a new post on the blog page. Last Saturday I tested it extensively and it worked beautifully. I had to make it as simple as possible for our director who is not the best with computers.

A little over an hour ago our director added a post and it did not appear on the blog although my test post was bumped off the page. According to the “View Source” I should be able to see it.

I have checked our plugins already. I updated all of them just in case. I also deactivated them all to see if that was potentially the issue. No change either way.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I am hoping this has a simple explanation as to why this is doing this when it was not misbehaving last week.
