WooCommerce Shop Base Page to display products

Ive created my own theme for wordpress and i then downloaded woocommerce to help me display 18 products on a page which will allow a user to click through to view details on that product

i went into the woocommerce settings and set the shop base page to a blank page i had created previously which was using a full width template i had created

when i view the page the template is completely messed up and there is a random side bar showing as well all unstyle

what do i need to change or fix for the products to be displayed in the temaplte i created??
