   Helllo!

   I'm new to WordPress and a bit confused by the following problem:

   i created a frontpage with a multiple posts presentation (so far: all the posts). The weird thing is, the family of the font changes from the second post... and i don't know why.

   First i thought it was a problem with the CSS, but i noticed the problem subsists no matter what the theme is! See it for instance now, with the "Kubrick"-theme:

   You can see that the second and following posts don't look like the first one.

   Weirder: the problem appears in Firefox 1.5.0.7 for mac, Safari 2.0.4, Shiira 1.2.2, but in Internet Explorer 5.2 for mac! (who would have thought so?? ;-) )

   I switched off all the plugins, rewrote my Loop, de- and reinstalled WordPress - nothing changed.

   It's been 2 days that i break my head on that... Any help would be appreciated.

   Problem identified but not solved: when i remove this: '<tt><!--more--></tt>' (which is what controls the "read more" link) from the HTML of the first post, everything gets like it should be.

   Question now: how can i still use '<tt><!--more--></tt>' in the first post without it messing up with the font of the other posts?

   no <tt> anywhere => problem solved.

   The <!--more--> tag breaks the post in half at that point. So only stuff before the <!--more--> tag is displayed on the index page.

   Therefore, you should never put <!--more--> inside another tag structure, whether it be tt, or i, or b, or anything else. The post is broken in half at that point, so you will have an open tag but not the associated closing tag.
