Changing the page order

I am a brand new user (just one day) and I’m beginning to learn my way around. I’m using the default theme, twenty ten, and it came up with the first page a blog and a second, sample page. I deleted the sample page and created an about me page. I do not want the blog page to be the first item in the nav menu. I want to create a static page to be there, which I’ll call Home.

My first question is, how do I change the order of the pages in the nav menu bar? My second question is, where do I go to find documentation about these things so that I don’t have to clutter up the forums with the most elementary questions?
