Custom Menu creation broken

    When I am on the /wp-admin/nav-menus.php page
    I cannot create a custom menu… it says this:
    “Could not insert term into the database”

    I had just recently lost my website database, and had to create a new one from scratch… and then I had added manually my backups of mySQL database files via phpMyAdmin.

    Ever since then my old menu disappeared and I can no longer create a new custom menu… so the site nav is now just showing the pages I have created.
