• Has anyone else had luck with posting to WordPress from the new Google Docs and having the doc title show up as the post title. It is using the MoveableType API and seems to be working except for the title.

  • Not yet.

The same things happens on my end, also the post-slug just goes to a generic id since it has no title to use.

The problem with Google Docs is the html it posts is LAME. It’s throwing
‘s all over the place instead of well-formatted xhtml.

    Hopefully Google fixes this.

change the API type to MetaWeblog API ,

wordpress supports all three APIs , with some excebtions!(look in the docs)

    its working fine with me,

So that worked, but when I publish the article, WordPress doesn’t post it for another 4 hours. Its like there’s a timezone issue or something, but both sites (Docs and WordPress) tell me the same time.

I see it in the wp-admin, it just says it will post it in 4 hours. When I repost an older article it does the same thing.

I’ve got the same problem jcontonio except I probably won’t see the posts for 8 hours. WP stores 2 timestamps in the database, one of the is GMT and that is off 8 hours, the same as my +8 offset (Pacific). Something is going wrong along the line.

I do not have this delay problem, you may want to check WordPress settings, I am not a guru on that 😉

I am not getting a thing to post even changing the settings?

At least some of you are having some success with this. I’m only getting 403 response code errors for my URL. As far as I can tell, the settings are correct. What could be causing the errors?
