  • I’m getting this message on the install plugins page
“An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

I’ve tried to reinstall wordpress but it won’t let me, any ideas appreciated.

I’ve also got this error message on the dashboard
Incoming Links RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not resolve host: blogsearch.google.com; No data record of requested type

Same here. Hoping for a solution. Both the error message “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems” and the HTTP error on WordPress Blog on the dashboard.

You are not the only ones. I have exactly those two problems… Anyone has any idea about how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

@esmi As you say, I’ll do it now. Thanks for the advice.

Had the same problem. My hoster told me it`s a problem with the firewall on the server. he added the plugins url to the whitelist and then it worked.

    maybe a solution.
