• Hello, my blog is http://www.prairiepariah.com/ and the page I need help with is http://www.prairiepariah.com/gallery

What I’m trying to achieve is something similar to what John Dyer Baizley’s gallery section is like: http://aperfectmonster.com/gallery/
where he has a static page and images that link to other pages.

I’m new with wordpress so I’m trying to figure out how to do this. Here is what I DON’T want:
Pages listed in sidebar (as with a custom menu)
Pages listed in top menu bar
Pages listed as drop down tabs in menu bar (under Gallery)

I’ve played around with all of these options and wasn’t happy with the results. I just want that nice static page that links an image or text to another page without all the redundancy. I’m assuming this is a simple solution but I need fresh eyes with this one! Keep in mind that my knowledge of coding is very limited. I looked here already: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ but I don’t think they have what I want?

Just to clarify, I am using a child theme with Twentyeleven.

Sorry if this is a repeated post. I couldn’t find what I was looking for in the wordpress forums.

    Thanks!
