[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] re-directed to home page as admin

hello everyone..
when using the advanced access manage I am continually re-directed to the home page.. can’t even activate the plug-in.. I’ve tried changing themes and re-installing plug-in several times (after deleting from server manually).. any ideas?.. much appreciated..
