• I have YARP to auto appear on single posts, but I also have 2 custom post types where I don’t want to display any YARP posts.

Are there any plans to implement anything in the backend that can be ticked to exclude certain post types, or do I have to stop using the auto option, and only insert the YARP calls in the templates that I want to include?

I’m just thinking about the easiest way forward.

It would be great if YARP could detect custom post types in the settings and give you the option to tick boxes to exclude certain post types.

Let me know if you have any plans to implement this. I think it would be really popular!

    Any advice would be great!

  • This has been requested a lot recently, and I’m thinking of how to do this.

In the meantime, though, you can turn off the “automatic display” option and instead call related_posts() in your theme code precisely where you want it.

    Hey Mitcho!

Thanks for that, it would be so cool if the plugin could call up custom posttypes in the backend and allow YARPP to be turned on or off per post type.

Keep me posted on progress or if you need anything tested!
