This is actually how WSL is supposed to work, and it’s explained on the plugin user guide

Are you saying that if you install WSL that it doesn’t do a simple check to make sure the site is allowing new users to register before showing the option to login/register using your plugin?

Personally, if I put in the admin settings of wordpress that I do not want users to register on the site I expect plugins to respect that setting and not override it for no particular reason.

I do not have the login plugin and I’m thinking of unchecking the “Anyone can register” box. Would this setting have anything to do with a visitor not being able to upload a photo using the NextGen Public Uploader? I’m the site admin and the uploader works very well for me. I notice on the NextGEN Uploader site, it states “Any visitor that is logged into your website will be allowed to upload an image to the gallery.”
