    I am a newbie.

In IE 6, when you click on the home button or header, all the site formatting disappears. If you refresh, it all comes back and looks fine.

If you type in the website address in browser, site comes up fine.

The above problem does not occur with IE7 or Firefox.

Tried clearing the browser cache and refreshing. I’ve recreated the problem on multiple computers.

You can recreate problem by going to http://www.democracyforvancouver.org in IE6 and hitting the home button or header link.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Well I can’t say for sure this is the issue behind IE going bonkers on your css, but is there a reason you named your stylesheet style.php?

Try renaming it to style.css, pointing to that in your head’s stylesheet link tag, and see if this helps things.

    Thanks for your reply.

First of all I didn’t change anything with regard to syle.css versus style.php.

All I did was load the tiga theme (1832) and customize it using the admin “tigerator”.

You have touched on the fix, but I am still confused. When I do as you say, the css formatting reverts back to the original theme 1832/tiga that is being used with the exception of using a background header image which I tested out using the theme tigerator.

This theme has a “tigerator that allows you to input the css without knowing css.

If I do as you recommend, it fixes the problem but the tigerator no longers allows me to customize the css.

So I am caught between using the formatting I want by means of the tigerator with the resulting problem in ie6 or using your fix without knowing how to change the formatting back to how it shows using the tigerator.

    Hope this is clear.

problem resolved itself for now anyway.

Perhaps a server issue that was corrected?
