   1. Someone leaves a comment in my blog.
   2. I decide to edit a misspelled word (e.g, "them don't").
   3. I change "them" to "they", and confirm it.
   4. On arrival at the comments page again, the editing looks fine, except for all words in that particular reply using apostrophes suddenly change to slashes.

   Illustration:

   Comment before edit:
   "Them don't want to eat chips they don't like."

   Comment after edit:
   "They don/t want to eat chips they don/t like."

   Why does this happen, and how can I fix it?

   What version of WP are you running?

   There was a bug in 2.0.3 that could cause something like that.

   I think I'm running 2.0.3...

   you need to update to 2.0.4, thats fixed in THAT version, as are a few security issues.
