  • I’d say yes and no. This plugin does a good job of blocking right mouse clicks which prevent casual people from copying images and text, and also from bringing up right-click menus such as “inspect element”.

The thing is, if anyone uses their browser command “view source” they can see the direct links to images, etc. Maybe not all of them, but some.

But it certainly would put off some casual thieves would want to cut & paste stuff for their own sites.

Excellent plugin however it does not prevent images from being copied. Whilst it disables the Right Click function this can be over ridden by holding down the SHIFT key and then right clicking. This allows you to copy the image from the website.

This has been raised with Matt and hopefully it will be addressed. I have also notified other plugins that claim to disable the right click of this work around. So whilst I continue to use this plugin the first one to resolve the SHIFT key issue will get my money/donation.

I have lost over £260 in images and need to have this resolved.

    Thanks Matt
