[Plugin: WP Coda Slider] How do I add post featured image to slides?

    I am using your latest version 0.3.6.2

    I need the featured image for each post show in the slides. I’ve tried to add this using some code used on templates for this purpose but I’m not having any luck.

    Can you either add this feature or/and tell me how to add this myself? I am using you slider on a client site and need this function for them to be able to manage the whole site themselves.

    I really like the coda slider and want to use it more but this featured image problem is keeping me from doing so. Does anyone have an answer for this?

    Hi trishadee,

    Sorry I missed your topic when you originally posted it. It currently does not support featured images but if you would like to use it for that I can send you a link to a development version that does support featured images. Just reply to this if you still want to try.

    Hello Chris and thank you for getting back to me.

    The client whose site I was developing went in a different direction. So currently I have no need for the featured image version.

    However, I do really like the Coda Slider and will be using it in the future when needs arise. Adding the featured image to it will be a great additions. Thanks!

    Hi Chris,

    I’m extremely interested in testing out the Featured Images version.
    Did it ever make it out of testing? I’ve been having a play with the wpcodaslider.php file but not quite getting it to work just right yet….

    I’ll be a happy guinea pig!

    Coda Slider just handles things in a different enough way to make it a valid switch from SlideDeck.
