go to your pages… then place the mouse over the page you want to remove the comments from and click on “quick edit” you’ll see an check mark infront of comments… uncheck it!
I’m trying to over come the same issue. astonlife – we’ve worked out how to remove the comments, but we want to get rid of the TAG that says “Comments Off” from each of the pages.

You can generally do that in the CSS, using “display: none;” to hide that on the page. Try using Firebug to find the CSS selector that you would need to use for that code or post a link to your site and someone can likely help you more specifically. You’ll also need to have either a child theme set up or a custom CSS option or plug-in.

Hello All,
I have tried various suggestions for removing “Comments Off” tag from my pages. The pages is for a candy maker’s website so it does not need comments. I’ve managed to disable comments…but I can’t get rid of the “COmments Off” text. I’ve tried altering comments.php and index.php
Any help would be great appreciated.
