   hi i recently moved servers. everything seems to be fine,
   i followed the directions on the codex and i have all my posts.

   but i lost like a 100 comments during the move, i'm not sure why this is.

   what can i do to fix this?

   you are not supposed to loose the comments since they are on the same database ...

   can you check if you have access to phpmyadmin the database if the comments are there ?

   it might be just a problem of display ?

   it's so weird, on my old server's phpadmin i have 4,584 rows of data, but when i move it to my new server, i only have 2390.

   i even export the comments.sql by itself.
   then i edit it in a text editor changing olddomain.net to newdomain.com
   and then i copy and pastes the sql query in the php admin.

   yet i always lost comments. :(
