site will not load

    Hi,
    a site I built for a client suddenly gets the message – Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.

    all was fine and now it will not load. The hosting company have said that the site is trying to load an external Url which is down, and that is the reason/

    I cannot figure it out at all, and not sure what my options are for rectifying the situation.

    The site loads for me now. While it’s possible calling an external page would do that, it’s noncensical that it would give a 324. Normally that just slows the load. And the only external URL I see on your main page is Google.
