I don’t think is FA Lite that does this. The output for that extra image doesn’t correspond to the output FA Lite has. That image is wrapped into a div having classes: post-674 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-featured
My best guess would be that this is an output generated by your theme that puts a related post above the current post. Please investigate that and let me know.

I’m sorry, you’re right, it’s a function of my theme. Thanks for your help!
Do you think at some point you could keep this from happening for those us us who don’t know where to alter our theme or cannot do it?
Edit: I have at least temporarily solved the problem in my case by adding some css to my theme’s style sheet:
.fa_content img {display:none;}
This keeps a single post image from repeating itself and more than one post image from displaying in the slideshow.
Can you please post a link to your website so I can take a look? As for themes, there’s no way to control how they behave. The plugin doesn’t do that, it doesn’t interact with post content except from placing the shortcode for slideshows.
Since it’s fixed, you won’t see the problem: illusivecomics.com
But the slider was showing the first featured post image twice, then any additional photos in the post. By hiding the additional images in the slideshow (which all had a class of .fa_content, it now only shows the first image. img class=”FA_wrap” is the one that shows in the slider.
I’m better with CSS than PHP.
