    Not a bad idea, but this is really beyond the scope of this plugin.

    It would add quite a bit of overhead to the query, and random means different things to different people.
    * If I reload the page, do I see a different image?
    * Even if the page has been cached?

    I do agree that there is some potential there though, and if somebody else added the feature in a reasonable way I would consider merging it back into the plugin.
